The woman behind the camera.....I am a wife, mother, NeNe and lover of Jesus.  My love for photography started as a very young child when my grandmother introduced me to her Polaroid camera.  I still have that camera and it is a treasure that I cherish.  From there I learned to develop my own film and won first place in 4-H at district in film processing.  In the past 15 years I have taken that passion and captured many beautiful moments for my clients, friends and family.  I am a natural light photographer that edits to natural beauty of each moment I capture. 

My education includes a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration where I have worked anywhere from retail to being a CEO of a corporation but my greatest joy has always been in photography.  I have worked in the wedding industry where I owned and operated my very own full service bridal boutique where I also offered wedding coordination.  My expertise in wedding coordination has helped me streamline my photography timeline to help my brides have a seamless experience when I am hired as their photographer.  I started out in photography as a self-learner but knew I wanted to take my photography to the next level so I began photography classes from the New York Institute of Photography.  I have taken classes from other professional photographers and worked in a professional studio learning first hand from one of the best.  Each day, I find a way to learn more about what I love so that my clients can feel confident and trust that when they hire me, they are getting a professional with experience in all situations from business to photography.

I live in the beautiful Northeast Georgia mountains and enjoy all things family.  Not only am I a professional photographer but I am also a writer with three published books, a blogger and a Childhood Cancer mom/advocate.  I have a passion for photography and capturing moments for my clients to cherish for years to come.  The creative part of me comes alive when I am behind the camera as I enjoy capturing the very essence of the person I am photographing using a different approach to photography with every photo session! I love an adventure to a waterfall, hiking to the top of a mountain or the simplicity of a beautiful open field.  Your style, your vision and your time is strategically planned to capture who you are and what you love.  I specialize in photographing weddings, couples, seniors, and families.  I have photographed it all so I am open to photograph any special occasion or event in a persons life that they want to capture on film.
